The Workshop on Alaska Charitable Giving hosted by the UAA Economics Department and Experimental Economics Lab will be held from noon to 5pm on August 15, 2012. Recent research in experimental economics sheds new light on fundraising and charitable giving which can provide valuable insights for Alaska’s nonprofits. The goal of this workshop is share the results of this exciting line of research with the nonprofit community.

In 2011 we held the first incoming UAA Undergraduate Student Workshop. 20 students participated in this 2 day workshop where UAA faculty covered fundamental economic concepts using fun interactive experiments. Thank you IFREE for your generous support! Workshops were also held in 2012 and 2013.
