Welcome to the UAA Experimental Economics Laboratory where the UAA College of Business and Public Policy is advancing research and education through the use of experimental economics. The UAA experimental program and lab is relatively new - this site is intended to provide information to students, educators and researchers.

RECENT NEWS:

NEW FACULTY: UAA welcomes Jim Murphy, the second Rasmuson Chair of Economics, to a permanent faculty position in the department of economics. Jim is an accomplished experimentalist and resource economist who joins UAA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Jim is actively engaged in using experimental methods in his research and teaching. 

PUBLICATIONS: UAA researchers  Lee Huskey and Wayne Edwards  and Paul Johnson and Steve Jackstadt recently published results from UAA experiments.

GRANT FUNDED PROJECTS: UAA researchers Lance Howe, Jim Murphy, and Colin West recently received a large NSF grant to conduct field and laboratory experiments based on innovative ethnographic fieldwork. Click here for more information.
